WELCOME to the Dune Buggy Archives We are the founders of this continuing web adventure. On the left is Bart Shoemaker beside his 1971 Sears Rascal, then that's me John Shepard on the other side. This photo marked the beginning a wonderful friendship and the birth of the DBA website. Bart and I hope to have created the world's best fiberglass dune buggy information web site. Combined we have 950+ members with VW knowledge to share and probably the world's largest collection of Dune Buggy magazines, photos and brochures. We hope that everything you have spent hours searching for on the internet, will be here waiting for you. After all that's the whole reason we started this thing. Since we couldn't find any Fiberglass Dune Buggy Web sites out there, we decided to create one. A friend once told me," God will never give you a dream, without the ability to achieve it."
