Side view at
the storage yard where I bought it from. This was the lisitng photo
on ebay. |
Also in
storage still, the dash was wood at one time and is now rotten and
fallen out. |

Someone
dropped a heavy something on the buggy at one time. D'oh the
headlight stands got busted down into the fiberglass on each side.
Made sad eyes on it. |
The engine.
Real excitement fro me. My Dad was a big Corvair nut. I wish he still
was here to share this with. It would have been great. It's a 140 HP
Corsa Corvair I'm told. |

Paul Moran
tow'd it out into the sun for some pics. Thank to Paul and Jerry!
Jerry got he quick pics and posted them for me to see! |
Head on it
looks like it means business. Thats why my sons and I call it
"Mean Green Machine". We will be bringing it home from Il,
next weekend. 8 hours each way. |

Another shot
of the engine. It looks like custom valve covers and oil sump. Maybe
it's even beef'd up more than 140hp. Somewhere I read something about
crankin' 200hp out of these. Email me if your a Corvair guru.... |
This is what I
found on the internet when I searched for a 4 carb Corvair engine.
When I get it home, I will post a vin if on the block and try to get
more info. Also will need a WV Corvair rebuild/ tune up shop?
Any ideas????? |
